Papers of George Washington Digital Edition

The Papers of George Washington Digital Edition (PGWDE) contains the entire text of the fifty-two volumes of the print edition published by the University of Virginia Press through 2005, in six series: Diaries, Revolutionary War, Colonial, Confederation, Presidential, and Retirement.

International Security & Counter-Terrorism Reference Center

Content includes hundreds of full-text journals and periodicals, hundreds of thousands of selected articles, newsfeeds, reports, summaries, books, blogs, FAQs, and proprietary Background Information Summaries that pertain to terrorism and security. ISCTRC also combines deep background from scholarly writings with expert commentary from a variety of organizations, agencies, and publishers and timely reviews of recent developments across the international political, military, economic, social, and technical spectrum.

Chicago Defender (Historical)

The Historical Chicago Defender, an influential, historical African American newspaper, offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue.

The coverage is 1905-1978. Gelman also has a subscription for this publication from 1999-present in Ethnic Newswatch.

Black Studies Center

A multi-faceted resource that includes:

- The Chiciago Defender, 1909-1975, an influential historical African American newspaper

-International Index to Black Periodicals. Coverage from 1902 onward. Includes some linked full-text.

-Schomburg Studies on the Black Experience. Topical overviews by leading Black Studies scholars.

-Dissertations. Full-text dissertations on themes related to Black Studies.

L'Annee Philologique

L'Année Philologique is an index of publications related to the history, language, literature and civilization of ancient Greece and Rome. Coverage is from 1958-present; the database is updated once per year, although there is a 2-3 year delay between publication and when an item is indexed.
