Gelman Library replaced Forensic Abstracts through the British Forensic Service with Forensic Science Abstracts through Elsevier. Additional subjects covered in the database include Drug Research, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy, Drug Side Effects and Interactions, Toxicology, Human Medicine (Clinical and Experimental), Basic Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Medical Devices, Engineering and Instrumentation, Health Policy and Management, Pharmacoeconomics, Public and Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Pollution Control, Substance Dependence and Abuse, Psychiatry, Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Nursing.

Produced by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Financial Statistics is a standard source of international statistics on all aspects of international and domestic finance. Covering most countries of the world, it includes current data on exchange rates, international liquidity, international banking, money and banking. interest rates, prices, production, international transactions, government accounts, and national accounts.

Civil War: A Newspaper Perspective

This database contains the full text of major articles gleaned from over 2,500 issues of The New York Herald, The Charleston Mercury and the Richmond Enquirer, published between November 1, 1860 and April 15, 1865. The text begins with the events preceding the outbreak of war at Fort Sumter, continues through the surrender at Appomattox, and concludes with the assassination and funeral of Abraham Lincoln. Since the major events are described in detail by both Union and Confederate papers, their opposing perspectives are readily available for comparative evaluation.

Historical Statistics of the United States

This database contains over 37,000 statistical time series from the earliest dates of United States history to the most recent available at the time of publication in 2006.
